🎸 Introducing: BandMates
BandMates is a weekly 45-minute band class held during term time at our music school, led by professional coaches.
You’ll learn how to rehearse, perform, and play as part of a real band — developing the skills to go from a novice group musician to a confident concert performer.
It’s ideal for anyone who already learns an instrument (at Drummers Link or elsewhere) and wants to use those skills in a band setting. You’ll work on songs together, learn how to collaborate as a group, and have regular opportunities to perform and showcase your progress.
To join, you’ll complete a short application telling us a bit about yourself. We use this to match groups by age, skill level, and musical taste, so everyone gets the most out of the experience.

Our second intake of BandMates sessions launch on Monday evenings from 3rd November 2025 — with just:

That’s 1 spot per instrument, per age group:
🎵 Ages 9–13 (Mon, 4:15-5:00pm)
🎵 Ages 9–13 (Mon, 5:00-5:45pm)
🎵 Adults (Mon, 6:00-6:45pm)
🎵 Ages 14-17 (Mon, 6:45-7:30pm)

We’ll be reviewing all applications made before 24th October — then hand-picking our favourites and match-making the perfect bands.
