DRUMMERS LINK LTD – GROUP LESSON TERMS & CONDITIONS
2025/26 UPDATE
Effective from 15th August 2025.
This agreement is between Drummers Link LTD (“we”, “us”) and the Student/Parent/Guardian (“you”) for the provision of group drum lessons only (no private lessons) at a pre-arranged time for a fixed monthly fee, payable by Direct Debit.
By enrolling in our programme, you agree to the following terms:
1. Fees & Payment Terms
Lesson fees are payable by Direct Debit on the 1st of each calendar month (excluding August).
Fees are a fixed monthly amount, calculated to cover all scheduled teaching weeks across the academic year.
Fees are reviewed annually.
Late Payment Policy:
If payment is not received within 5 days of the due date, a £10 late payment fee will be added to your account.
If payment is not received within 10 days, the student will be withdrawn from all classes with no option to re-enrol until account is settled. Any outstanding fees must still be paid.
Payments are non-refundable except where required by law.
2. Missed Lessons
We operate group lessons for 39 weeks per year, closely following school term dates (see our academic calendar: drummerslink.com/lesson-calendar).
There are no refunds or video catch-ups for missed sessions. However, you can use our online video library to help support home practise (library links found in relevant curriculum books).
If you provide at least 48 hours’ notice, we may, at our discretion, offer an alternative group lesson slot if we feel it is a suitable match for the student’s ability level. Availability is not guaranteed.
If a teacher is unavailable, we will always endeavour to provide a vetted, suitable substitute teacher from our team.
3. Late Pick-Up Policy
Students must be collected promptly at the end of their session.
If you are more than 15 minutes late, a £7.50 fee per 15 minutes (or part thereof) will be added to your next billing cycle.
If you call ahead to explain a delay due to extenuating circumstances, the fee may be waived at our discretion.
If no explanation is received:
We will attempt to call the primary contact number up to three times.
After 30 minutes with no answer, we will contact Social Services in line with safeguarding procedures.
4. Notice & Final Bills
You may end your enrolment by giving 30 days’ written and paid notice. New customers get 30 days from registration to cancel without paying notice fees.
Your final bill will be calculated at £20 (+ any applicable VAT) per remaining lesson in your notice period.
If you have attended more lessons than paid for at the point of termination, the balance will be added to your final bill.
5. Conduct & Behaviour
Students are expected to treat all staff, fellow students, and equipment with respect.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate a student’s enrolment without refund for persistent disruptive or unsafe behaviour.
We expect all parents and guardians to treat staff, students, and other families with respect. Any abusive, aggressive, or disruptive behaviour (in person, online, or over the phone) may result in immediate termination of the student’s enrolment without refund.
6. Equipment & Materials
You are responsible for the cost of any drumsticks, music books, or accessories provided by us for your use.
Any loaned equipment must be returned in the condition it was provided; you may be charged for loss or damage.
7. Medical & Emergency Information
You must inform us of any medical or other conditions that may affect the student’s participation.
In the event of an emergency where you cannot be reached, we reserve the right to seek appropriate medical assistance.
8. Liability
While every reasonable care is taken, we are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property brought onto our premises.
Our liability is limited to the cost of the lessons paid for in the current month.
9. Safeguarding
All staff are DBS-checked.
We follow strict safeguarding protocols, including the late collection escalation policy above.
By enrolling at Drummers Link LTD, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these terms.
