Welcome to Drummers Link
“Proudly located in Northampton, Drummers Link Music School offer high quality drum lessons for kids, teens and adults, for all levels and abilities.”
Our 45-minute weekly group classes are designed to help drummers feel confident, included, and excited to learn — even if they’ve never picked up sticks before.
From the very first session, students play alongside others, take on simple roles that matter, and experience what it feels like to be part of a supportive drumming team. Lessons are structured, welcoming, and led by experienced teachers who know how to build confidence and momentum week by week.
For kids and teens
Drumming becomes a place to belong. Students learn rhythm, teamwork, and focus while playing together in a positive group environment that channels energy, builds self-belief, and celebrates progress.
For adults
Our classes offer a chance to switch off, make music, and enjoy learning in a relaxed, friendly setting. No pressure, no judgement — just a welcoming group where it’s never too late (or too early) to start.
Alongside weekly classes, students can take part in themed workshops, termly events, and performance opportunities that bring our whole drumming community together — including our annual showcase, LinkFest.
Based in Northampton, Drummers Link is trusted by over 150 local students every week, from complete beginners to advanced players — all learning, playing, and growing together.
Our song syllabus makes learning the drums fun!
Our comprehensive school curriculum has been designed by us to help you learn drums with expert guidance, in a fun and varied format.
Our books contain supporting exercises to help guide you through popular songs with a unique option to scale the difficulty levels to suit you.
Each book comes with an online video library that guides you through the exercises and songs to help you practise at home between drum lessons so that you’re never unsure of what to work on.

In 2022, our drum student Greg Jacobs reached the finals of the UK competition “Young Drummer of The Year”!
Hosted by Mike Dolbear and Ade Holbrook, the competition was judged by a selection of drumming professionals, including the likes of Matty Brown (Stormzy), Freddy Sheed (Lewis Capaldi), and Dexter Hercules (The Voice UK).
Greg was amongst 10 finalists, selected from 400 entries, that performed on stage for a chance at the top spot. This amazing story was covered by the Northampton Chronicle and Echo.

We will offer you a space in our regular weekly classes so you can continue your journey learning the drums.
Our regular monthly fee of £82 (inc. VAT) is based on 39 weeks per academic year. Billed on 1st of every month (excluding August).
30-Day Cooling-Off Promise: After enrolling, you’re free to cancel within your first 30 days — we’ll simply stop future payments. No contracts, no surprises.

Unit 314, K2 House Business Centre, Heathfield Way, Northampton, NN5 7QP. We will email further information with directions on where to find us within the building.

Simply click the “RESERVE A SPOT” button and select an age-appropriate class on a day and time that suits you. Then fill in the “Customer” and “Student” details before submitting your reservation. We will then send you a confirmation email.

We’d really appreciate some advance notice if you’re no longer able to attend your free trial. These group sessions have limited availability (maximum 5 people) and your reservation blocks other students from booking. Please let us know as soon as you can, and we’ll work with you to arrange another time.

Unfortunately parents are not able to stay and watch. We have limited space in our studio and it can be distracting for other attendees when parents are watching.

The session will last 45 minutes.

We think billing should be predictable and easy to budget. So we bill monthly (excluding August) for a set fee of £82 (inc. VAT). This sum factors in school holidays.
