Why Join Theatre Rocks Youth Choir?

Theatre Rocks is a youth choir in Northampton for children and teenagers who love music, singing and performing. Combining huge Musical Theatre favourites with legendary Rock Anthems, our weekly choir sessions give young singers the chance to find their voice, build confidence and experience the excitement of performing together.

No previous singing or choir experience is needed. Whether your child already loves being on stage or is looking for a friendly place to come out of their shell, Theatre Rocks Youth Choir gives them somewhere to belong.

A Kids' Choir That's About More Than Singing

Our kids' and teens' choir groups are designed to help young singers develop their voices while building confidence, friendships and performance skills. Every rehearsal brings the group together to learn songs they genuinely enjoy, from the world of Musical Theatre and Rock music.

There's no pressure to arrive as a polished singer. Students learn, improve and grow together as part of the choir.

Theatre Rocks brings the energy of the stage into every rehearsal. Our young singers work on exciting songs from Musical Theatre shows and iconic Rock artists, learning how to sing as an ensemble while developing their own voice, musicality and stage presence.

Perform With a Live Band

Theatre Rocks is more than a weekly choir group. We're working towards something.

Students have opportunities to take what they've learned in rehearsals and perform live on stage, backed by musicians from our house band.

It transforms singing lessons into something much bigger. Young performers experience the lights, the audience and the excitement of being part of a real live show.

Build Confidence On and Off Stage

Not every student joins because they dream of becoming a professional singer.

For some, simply walking through the door and joining a new group is a huge achievement.

CHOIR MEMBERSHIP FEE

We host choir sessions on a weekly basis throughout school term time.

Sessions for ages 8-12 are 60 mins, and for ages 13-16s its 75 mins.

Our regular monthly fee of £31.60 (inc. VAT) is based on 39 weeks per academic year. Billed on 1st of every month (excluding August).

30-Day Cooling-Off Promise: After enrolling, you’re free to cancel within your first 30 days — we’ll simply stop future payments. No contracts, no surprises.

FAQs

  • Simply fill in the form on this page, we will contact you to arrange your booking. Alternatively, after completing the form you’ll be directed to the self-booking page - there you can self-enrol in a trial class or fully enrol to secure a place.

  • Unit 314, K2 House Business Centre, Heathfield Way, Northampton, NN5 7QP. We will email further information with directions on where to find us within the building.

  • We’d really appreciate some advance notice if you’re no longer able to attend your trial. These group sessions have limited availability (maximum 25 people) and your reservation blocks other students from booking. Please let us know as soon as you can, and we’ll work with you to arrange another time.

  • Unfortunately parents are not able to stay and watch. We have limited space in our studio and it can be distracting for other attendees when parents are watching.

  • 8 - 12 years sessions are 60 mins.
    13 - 16 years sessions are 75 mins.

  • We think billing should be predictable and easy to budget. So we bill monthly (excluding August) for a set fee of £31.60 (inc. VAT). This sum factors in school holidays.

  • Nope! We’ll provide everything you need to participate in the class.
